Learning and Teaching @EdUHK Festival 2026
The “Learning and Teaching @EdUHK Festival 2026” (the Festival) will be held for four consecutive months from February to May 2026. The theme “Learning and Teaching for Future Readiness” is proposed in view of the strategic development of the University. This year, activities and programme will be organised including theme-based seminar, exhibition of poster boards, open class observations, students sharing and video showcases. The Festival is organised by the Centre for Learning, Teaching and Technology (LTTC), Faculty of Education and Human Development (FEHD), Faculty of Humanities (FHM), Faculty of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (FLASS), Graduate School (GS), and School Partnership and Field Experience Office (SPFEO).
Induction Programme for Part-time Staff (Sem 2, 2025/26)
Online through ZoomDesigned for new part-time staff teaching postgraduate and undergraduate courses, the Induction Session for Semester 2, 2025/26 will be held on 4 February 2026 online through Zoom. This session covers essential topics including assessment planning, academic integrity, e-Learning support, and student background profiles to facilitate effective teaching and learning.
Workshop on Connecting GILO with Learning and Teaching
Online through ZoomHave you ever wondered why students sometimes show limited improvement in the University’s Generic Intended Learning Outcomes (GILOs), even when we intentionally design class activities to support them? In this workshop, Dr. Sam Cheung will debunk common myths about promoting students’ achievement of the GILOs through course‑level learning and teaching activities. He will revisit the meaning of each GILO and provide practical tips on designing and implementing activities that enhance students’ mastery of subject knowledge while fostering these core attributes.
International Conference on Learning and Teaching (ICLT) 2026
EdUHK Conference Centre, E-P-01With the theme “Transforming Teacher Education and Teaching: Embracing Change and Innovation”, the 10th International Conference on Learning and Teaching 2026 (ICLT 2026) will be held on 21 - 23 April 2026 at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) in a hybrid format with online and on-site conferencing for all registered participants.
