About Apple Regional Training Center (RTC)

Introduction

The Centre for Learning and Teaching Technology (LTTC) at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) is proud to announce that it has been recognized as an Apple Regional Training Centre (RTC).

As the first Apple RTC in Hong Kong , this recognition underscores our commitment to facilitating high-quality training for students, pre-service teachers, and academic staff to develop skills and build confidence in using Apple technology in the classroom and beyond. Our LTTC lab, a pioneering initiative in collaboration with Apple Education, is equipped with cutting-edge Apple devices including iMac, iPad, and Apple Pencil. This provides an ideal environment for hands-on learning and experiencing the latest technological advancements.

The LTTC offers a diverse range of workshops encompassing Swift programming, iOS app development, augmented reality, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. Open to students, pre-service teachers, and academic staff, these workshops aim to develop skills and confidence in using Apple technology both inside and outside the classroom.

As Hong Kong’s first Apple RTC, we are part of a global community that shares best practices and supports educators to achieve Apple Teacher status, a professional learning programme designed to acknowledge and assist educators.
