The discussion forum in Moodle enables teachers and students to communicate online to enrich blended learning. Teachers can set up and configure online forums for students to engage in pre-class tasks and post-class discussions.
Panopto allows users to edit their videos. This workshop aims at demonstrating how we can do so on Panopto via making changes, adding extra streams to our videos, or creating quizzes embedded in videos.
Topics to be covered include:
understanding the video editing environment of Panopto
preparing the different sources of video streams or slides
adding and editing streams
modifying the publish settings (for controlling captions, downloads, etc.)
how viewers can access the video and the learning materials
To promote academic integrity, the use of Turnitin in Moodle for online assignment submission was implemented in 2015/16. Recently, an enhanced feature, Feedback Studio (formerly known as GradeMark), was embedded in Turnitin, which allows teachers to evaluate students’ work online via mobile devices easily. In this workshop, you can have hands-on practice in setting up Turnitin assignments, viewing similarity reports submitted by students and giving comments online.
