The Centre for Learning, Teaching and Technology (LTTC) offers the following workshop on Building Your Intelligent Vehicle with Automatic Control System Programming. This workshop is ideal for all students, researchers, and professionals interested in robotics and automation.
An intelligent vehicle is an advanced robotics sensing technology capable of performing tasks such as sensing objects, following lines, and avoiding obstacles. In this workshop, you can have an introduction to the fundamentals of robotics and automation, the entire building process of automatic robotics vehicles and hands-on experience in building a robotics vehicle with various electronic components, software and C++ programming language. The workshop covers essential topics such as autonomous driving systems, intelligent lighting control systems, photodetectors, etc. By the end of the workshop, you can have a solid understanding of the key concepts and technologies used in intelligent vehicles and be able to apply them to your projects and interests.

In this workshop, students can learn how to create a fun Augmented Reality (AR) interactive game for learning using the Apple iOS Reality Composer app. You can get an introduction to AR technology basics, as well as the functions and features of Reality Composer. You can have hands-on practice in constructing 3D compositions and creating AR interactive games that can be experienced on iPad, which includes designing 3D scenes and content, creating animations, and adding interactive elements to create more immersive learning experiences in AR. By the end of the workshop, you can create and share your own AR interactive games for any teaching topics using Reality Composer.
