Learning and Teaching @EdUHK Festival 2015

The Learning and Teaching @HKIEd Festival 2015 aims to promote the sharing of successful learning and teaching evidence for “Emerging Practices: Learning and Teaching in Higher Education” by engaging colleagues and students to showcase their achievements in HKIEd. A series of Festival activities took place in February and March 2015 including:

E-Learning in Higher Education Seminar Day cum Open Class Observation 2016

To further cultivate a sharing and research culture on Learning and Teaching (L&T) environment in HKIEd, a series of activities including seminar day and open class observation will be launched by The Centre for Learning, Teaching and Technology (LTTC) working with Faculties, Departments and School in the Semester II of 2015/16. The L&T event with focus on “E-Learning in Higher Education” will be integrated with the conference “Global Chinese Conference on Computers in Education 2016 (GCCCE2016)”.

Learning and Teaching @EdUHK Festival 2017

As stated in “The University Learning and Teaching Plan 2016-19” of the Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK), the University determines to strive for enhancing the quality of learning and teaching, which is also one of the key endeavours of “The 10-year University Strategic Plan 2016-2025”. To provide a platform for a sustainable sharing culture of learning and teaching best practices at EdUHK, the Learning and Teaching @EdUHK Festival 2017 will be held from January to March 2017 to further enhance the quality of learning and teaching, through the promotion of innovative learning and teaching approaches, sharing of e-Learning and application of technology-enhanced pedagogies. A series of activities in five categories will be carried out in the Festival months including Open Class Observation, Video Showcase, Invited Talk/Seminar, Poster Board Exhibition and Conference Day.

Learning and Teaching @EdUHK Festival 2018

With the theme “Teaching Excellence in the Big Data Era”, the Learning and Teaching @EdUHK Festival 2018 is organised by the Centre for Learning, Teaching and Technology (LTTC), Faculty of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (FLASS), Faculty of Education and Human Development (FEHD), Faculty of Humanities (FHM) and Graduate School (GS). The Festival serves as a platform for academic/teaching staff, postgraduate students of the University, and local/overseas academic/researchers to share innovative learning and teaching approaches, to promote the application of technology-enhanced pedagogies, and to exchange of teaching best practices. This Festival also aims to cultivate an encouraging environment to strive for teaching excellence within the University and to strengthen the links with regional and international partners.
