This webinar aims to explore innovative strategies for fostering a culture of integrity inacademic settings while addressing the unique challenges posed by digital learning environments. The first talk, “Building a Culture of Integrity: Innovative Approaches to Teaching Ethics in the Digital Age,” will explore pedagogical methods that engage students in meaningful discussions about ethics and integrity. Emphasising the need to integrate ethical frameworks into the curriculum, this presentation will highlight practical approaches that educators can adopt to cultivate a sense of responsibility andethical awareness among students. The second talk, “Utilizing Gamified Virtual Environments to Enhance AI Ethics and Academic Integrity“, will introduce guidelines for the responsible use of AI among students at EdUHK and showcase the potential of gamification in the virtual environment as an educational tool to promote ethical behaviour in the use of technology. Attendees will learn how virtual environments can create immersive learning experiences that teach students the principles of AI ethics andreinforce the importance of academic integrity in the context of digital interactions.
