Participation in this seminar can be counted towards the Certificate Course, “Introduction to Teaching in Higher Education” under the theme “Seminars/Workshops in Learning and Teaching”
As a continuum of the first seminar on an overall introduction of students’ self-regulated learning (SRL) strategies and their relationships with learning outcomes, this second seminar will focus on discussing specific strategies self-regulated learners could adopt at the beginning, during, and end of their learning in more details. This seminar will also provide specific instructional strategies and design principles for teachers to consider in terms of how to scaffold students’ SRL development, as well as recommendations regarding which technological tools can be used to facilitate this process.
