About DCR / ITCE
Digital Competency (DC) Curriculum
(for full-time UG and PGDE students admitted in 2025/26)
The LTTC offers and hosts the following courses under Digital Competency (DC) Curriculum for all full-time HD, UG and PGDE programmes of 2025/26 cohorts. For more details, please refer to https://lttc.eduhk.hk/for-students/dc/.
Digital Competency Requirement (DCR)
(for students admitted in 2024/25 and for part-time students admitted in 2025/26)
Changes in emerging technologies have placed at the forefront the development of knowledge, skills and attitudes that will equip students with the required level of Digital Competency Requirement (DCR) to succeed. In recognition of the impacts of technologies, all HD/UG/PGDE students admitted in 2024/25 and part-time students admitted in 2025/26 can fulfill the DCR by completing ITC3003 – IT ePortfolio Checking. The Department of MIT will email the briefing session details and materials to the respective programme offices.
DCR as Graduation Requirements
Students admitted in the following programmes must fulfill Digital Competency Requirement (DCR)（數碼能力要求）.
- All undergraduate programmes
- Programmes leading to QTS such as Postgraduate Diploma in Education programmes
- Programmes leading to QKT such as Sub-degree in Education programmes
Information Technology Competency in Education (ITCE) (for students admitted between 2020/21 and 2023/24)
Changes in emerging technologies have placed at the forefront the development of knowledge, skills and attitudes that will equip students with the required level of Information Technology Competency in Education (ITCE) to succeed. In recognition of the impacts of technologies, students who are admitted between 2020/21 and 2023/24 can fulfill the ITCE requirement by completing at least one of the pathways.
